Unhappy gasoline

I bought my DREAMCAR in may!
For 20 years I wanted a Camaro. I know nothing about cars and I'm struggeling here in northen Sweden finding people to help me out!
Can anyone just tell me why my car uses so much gasoline?
Yes I drive all day and in the midnightsun all night long but I have to fill up full tank twice a week...
I's a Z-28 from -82, V8, 305 .

really, just dont drive it as much, twice a week isnt really that much for a v8 bigger motor=more gas it drinks especially when you hit the gas a lot!

I can't resist...

..driving my summerlove!
I talked to a local guy here last night and he mention a change of something that I hardly know the swedish name of definitely the english!
That might help... But they really ripp us off selling carparts here. A piece that cost $40 in the states are charged $140 here...
How's your car running?

Do not drive that car alot because that car is a collectible right know since they stoped making the Camaro last year. Also i worship the CAMARO's like they are God.

But if i shall preserve my Camaro not driving it I have to get another car, because I can't longer stand my VW Jetta as you all can imagine.
And I can't afford a corvette... Any other suggestions!
My camaro is by the way only driven summertime in northen sweden.
We have good conditions here so the car is in a good shape!

That's what happens when you own a performance car with a decent size motor. Not to mention it's from the 80's, and newer cars currently are getting better mileage. Be thankful that you only fill up twice a week, I fill up every other day! Do you happen to know what your current mileage is?

Well, at the moment... It's about three times a week...
Ï'm so broke... But it's worth all the money in the world! Better than sex... Anyway I think it was 10 000 miles when I bought it in may.
