Wouldn't know. Here in Texas we have real Mexican food, not that Taco Bell crap...

They use Grade C meat. If that is what you call it...

You know, the funny thing is, I too have an appreciation for real Mexican food (and my brother lives in Austin- -since I frequently visit him, including a planned trip down to see him and my sister-in-law in a little over two weeks, I have had "real" Mexican food), and I think it is frankly an insult to compare The Bell to Mexican food in general. It's like comparing Sunkist or Tang to orange juice. There's NO comparison - period. Bell is this Americanized commercial spin-off on... shit, I guess Mexican food. But for what it is, I like it and enjoy endulging in it, and I have other friends, also cultured enough to appreciate real Mexican food, while still holding a special place in their hearts for The Bell. Sometimes you want real Mexican cuisine, and other times you want Bell. So I just want to clarify this and establish Bell and real Mexican food as two separate entities.

SO, getting back to my original query, any thoughts?

And I didn't mean to step on yours; in re-reading my response, I did come down hard on the "insult to compare The Bell to Mexican food in general" point. I hope I didn't sound like I was directing that comment at you - that was not my intention. I was addressing in general Taco Bell being called Mexican food. That's just BS. I would be willing that the CEO of Taco Bell would laugh at the comparison of Bell to real Mexican.

i have the same problem too with taco hell, yet somehow it doesnt prevent me from going there on my lunch breaks... maybe they put drugs in the so called "beef."

real mexican food is possibly the greatest kinds i can think of, other then peurto rican... pork chops with rice and beans, hell yeah. i went there for a week and gained 10 pounds.
