Tein shocks

Never been in a car with aftermarket suspension. So I was wondering is this a decent setup for a 240sx and does anyone know of any Tein shocks that are really bad/good. I assume they are all a pretty good buy (unless you buy racing or dirt use or something lol).

Thinking about using:
Tien Flex dampers
Eibach Sportline springs
Tein EDFC controller (maybe if I have enough money lol)

Planning on drifting a little, but not huge amounts so that's not really an issue. I just want great handling, but not so stiff a ride that my girlfriend hates riding in the car. The eibach springs I have heard good things about and the amount it lowers it is just about right, but I'm not sure about the Teins.

Don't mind spending the extra money on the FLEX's over HE/HA/BASIC's as long as it's going to be worth it.

1. The dampers come with springs already, as well as upper suspension mounts.
2. The dampers are very very nice and will make for a harsher ride.
3. You will need to have an alignment ASAP after you install the suspension.

The flex have two adjustment points. The suspension mounting point travels on the shock body, and the spring perch is adjustable as well. This allows you to maintain full suspension travel even after you've lowered the vehicle. They are threaded collar adjustments points, FYI.

You will have no need for the front eccentric bolts as the upper mounts are camber and caster adjustable.

The fronts are a strut/spring combo, the rears a shock/spring combo. Both are 16 way dampening adjustable via the top valve.

I currently use HAs on my S14 and I love them. I will however be moving up to the RAs most likely.

Tein makes a series called the "Master Shop" which are designed solely for circuit road racing or dirt/gravel racing.

Thank you very much for the help...planning out a few of the more major mods I want to do with my car once I finally get it (if I can ever find one that's decent around here...a perfect 1996 240sx se was selling for 10k around here...a bit steep and it was auto :-/)

Didn't look around a whole lot so I assumed I needed to buy springs since they sell them seperately too...apparently those are for more tuning purposes .

Yes, if you purchase from a direct dealer you have opt for different spring rates +/- 2 kgf/mm. But I suggest the "stock" rates for right now.
