cam broke clean in half!
How the hell could this happen? Its the first time I've ever seen something like this.
Oh well, anyone got an engine for sale? Or better yet, how about a car? I'm tired of fixing this one.

when one of the cam caps seizes to the camshaft journal, it will either stop the cam from turning or break the cam. right now im fighting with my toyota corolla, cause i seized two cam caps. didnt break anything though, so its time to buff the cam and clean the crap outta the head....
