put a 150-200 hp shot on nitrous on it. Price around 600 to 800.
put a supercharger on it get about 480 (if you're lucky) 3500-5000
put A turbo on it (mayby come close to the hp) 3500-5000
put a couple turbos on it (get the hp + some) 5000-?
or you could rebuild it to be a bullet proof stroker bottom end (382) and put some tricked out heads on it run a big cam and high comp. and get 500+
its up to you

Well I wouldn't even think of putting a 150 - 200 shot on an LS1 without building the motor for it. Otherwise you're talkin blowin it up. Second of all, a supercharger will make good power, if it's set up correctly. Finding someone who can tune an FI LS1 CORRECTLY is hard to find, especially if yo'ure not familiar with dealing with this engine. As far as turbos go, there are very few turbo ls1's, and even fewer TT ls1's. There just isn't enough room to do it without going through an extreme PITA, plus it would have to be a fully custom setup.

If you want to get 480 rwhp, you can get CLOSE on stock cid with a heavy hitting cam, lid, LT headers, LS6 intake manifold, and fully ported heads... and then throw some spray on it... a 75 shot would most likely put you at 500 rwhp if yo'ure on a good tune.

However, if you do this, make sure you plan to have a good driveline, aftermarket clutch, adj. MC, and a ford 9" or GM 12 bolt rear end. The stock 10 bolt will under that much horsepower. Throw in some 4.30 gears and you will have one HELL of a time.

Ls1 turbo??

Check this website " http://www.ststurbo.com/faq " . It is the best looking option in my opinion the LS1 kits should be available very soon .
I'm thinking very long and hard about it and they say you can expect at
least 414 RWHP on a stock LS1.
Over 500 with the methanol injected version.
4 to 6 hour installation by a novice with hand tools ???????????
Define NOVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are a number of other kits and
manufacturers. I expect this STS set up to retail under $3500.00 (hopefully) .

Re: LS1 turbo??

YOu are crazy. the Ls1 is made for Ns. the hyperetic pistion can esily handle 150 "dry' shot.. thsa righ their along wiht bolt on on willl put you over your desired hp

remeber you use Nos..only when needed .. the turbo is running and running hot ( internal combustion temp all the time)

study physics.. many Ls1 have used Nos for well over 100k miles..

you don't know you stuff.. especaily whenits a on demand hp increase it caus far less wear.. the LS1 is one of the strongest engines around..

don't listen to people that want to sale you big dollar items Nos is safe.and cause sminimal more wear than a non nos engine. meanaing stock.. i'll reiterate its on demand

Re: LS1 turbo??

Yes no doubt about it NOS is cheaper at the outset but
have you figured out how many times you're going to
have to fill that bottle over the course of 100K
miles?
How much have you saved then ?
I never said NOS was'nt safe for an LS1. But when that
bottle is empty guess what? Auf Wiedersen baby the
turbo is always ready willing and able to kick it.
Besides the man asked for Turbo websites maybe you should go to a NOS disscussion board you see that's the great thing about this country freedom of choice.
