55 pickup with top chop

I've had this model for 2yrs. Tried to do a chop top. Gave up. After I saw the truck meet thread it got me thinking about it again, so I finished the putty work lastnight and now it's ready for some primer.
Just thought you guys would like a look.

I'm thinking black with silver flames. (after seeing the flaming thread ) notice the widened rear guards and the smoothed hood.

Nice, I've been sitting on this kit for a while thinking of chopping the top but never get around to it. Looks good with the widened fenders.

I'd like to know what kit came with a supercharged "460 Cobra Jet". From what I remember the AMT flipnose (which is a '53 btw) kit came with a smallblock chevy. The Revellogram '55 with the rims Circuit's using comes with a late model 5.0 engine.

Looks awesome! I like the mufflers, keep them center exit looks nice. Whole body shape looks better chopped and widened. Only thing I could suggest is some bigger wheels, those wheels look overpowered by the sheer size of that truck, get some hoppin' hydros 21s for it

Hopping hydros?
Never heard of them, let alone what they look like.
I'm pretty new to this site, Where do I get them from?
