OBD1 or 2
I know the y8 is OBD2 and I hear that the wiring is tricky. But I thought I was told that you can make the y8 OBD1 and it may be easier. Is this true? If so, what are the differences as far as the swap goes?

obd2 wiring is harder. Just use a z6 ecu and dizzy and obd0 to obd1 conversion harness and run it as obd1.

Oh one more thing...
Will the dizzy from the z6 bolt up right to the y8? I thougt I heard only a couple of the holes line up...unless that was on another motor? |

p28 is correct and im not sure about the z6 dizzy, i think it does. I know when you use a 88-91 si dizzy on a z6 only 1 bolt hole lines up until you modify one of the legs.
