r1 bike

yes i used a pin vice to drill out the brakes and i also used the sticker kit from the tamiya red bull kit.So now i have a yamaha kit without stickers but will come up with something to do with it. The best stuff i have used for the decals was decal set by testors i really pulled the decals to the kit

carbon can

The hardest thing abouy doing the cans is finding something to wrap around the pipes so you can do the carbon fiber look starting with gloss black all over the pipes and then using tamiya ms5 spray over the top of the black but using something like fly screen to get the gaps on the pipe. If anyone knows anything better to use to cover the pipes to do carbon look please let me know THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR GOOD INPUT ON MY KIT.............

Hi! Welcome to AF!
It's great to see some bikes here. It's always either Skylines or Silvias

Having seen this bike in person, it sure was. You will have to post some pics of the Ducati you did for your mate.
