My civic got stolen a couple of weeks ago i got the car back, but the people that stole the car are still running around.

So Im thinking what steps could I do to stop someone from driving away with my car. I know that there is no 100% way to stop a thief but can you guys help me think of some quick ways to stop the car from being stolen

I have a alarm now

I"m thinking bout removing the ecu everynight anybody have anymore idea's

Thanks

Everybody be careful these guys go to the local race's an follow the fast cars home, I think what happened to me was people bragging on my car, I know everybody heard that story............ Yeah I got a friend that runs 12's all day on street tires full interior, ........OH YEAH where he live at ..........What kind of car was that .........................THanks
You dont know who the hell your bragging to thats why I keep my lips sealed I dont say nothing.............Whats done to your car ..........Nothing much just a exhaust i wanted a flowmaster but pepboys was all sold out. Thats how I play them from now on

A mod list an a pic is a thiefs best friend

If I park somewhere I'm uneasy about, I take out the spark plug wires when I leave it for the night.

even faster just remove the ecu fuse under the hood, although you'd have to reset your clock and shit everytime you start the car.

just get one of those removable steering wheels.

thats just the ignition wire for the alarm, most alarms if u unplug them the car will start

im talkin about runnin a seperate switch to cut the fuel off, nothin to do with the alarm, basically it will just turn the fuelpump off

If peoples want to steal your car, they're going to do it.... I remember marked001 got his car stolen twice... the second time it wasn't even running so they had to have towed it away.... there is no 100% way to stop car theives... just slow them down a little..

Yea, that will do it.
Unfortunatly after about an hour he will get pissed and before leaving he will break your window or something along those lines.... Cocksuckers. I recomend a moron detector and a luisville.

yup i hope so i got the car insured for 5000 special equiment so as long as the car isnt driven away i'll be fine i learned my lesson no more 2500 systems to be dragged down the street by some low life

I got over 12k in my civic now an im like damn I love the car so much and its so close to being down But all i do is worry bout it

Its alot funnier when you have small mods when you dump over 12k cash in a car in one year an its been stolen once already you start to think man i cant replace this shit all over again.

what upset's me is that its nothing you can do it's almost ok to steal anything you want

The cop says you have to cacth them in the act an be able to prove it an if you go and harm the thief when he's stealing from you he can sue you for damage's

An i was told on average it takes 9 months to get finger prints back (my local police department )thats if they left finger prints that are perfect an the thief has a criminal record

Check this out

Lady has here Suv stolen. The thief use'd the vehicle to rape an kill a lady the police held the vehicle for 9 months for evidence. Sent the vehicle out to be cleaned because the insurance company wouldn't total it because it was cheaper to clean it the lady had to take her vehicle back and she was stuck with a vehicle that had been used in a murder an its nothing she can do but sell it an take a loss

One of my friends had a 67 camero stolen out of his driveway, during the day. The people used a long drillbit, popped a small hole through the fender and the battery so the acid would leak out, so there is not enough power to activate the starter as it was towed away. He never saw that car again.

Two morals to this: One, if you have a car that is worth something, don't leave it out. Two, no matter what you do, there is a way to get around it, so if they want it badly enough, it will be thiers.
