i just got an alty

1994 nissan altima se - 119k

5 speed

i just got it for the 5 speed, lol. its freakin cheaper for the whole freakin car then do the conversion in mine. and guess what, i ran a 17.2 in my 240sx and this runs a 16.4 stock

$1300

really cant blame me for getting it if its that cheap... my 240's going to go on the city block in a few days. im hoping to get 6000 for it, pocket the 4700 i just made and either put it towards my future rb 240sx or get a house. haven't decided which yet.

i got it off ebay, its in cleveland about 10 miles away, going to pick it up tomorrow morning. its nice that i will be able to pay this off with cash instead of a huge payment... i'll see how it holds up and let you guys know.

umm...FWD Altima 5-speed is supposed to fit in your RWD 240SX HOW???

EDIT - oh wait, i get it now. you bought this as a side car to get your 5-speed fix instead of putting a 5-speed in the better car? yeesh...i wouldn't care how much it costs as long as i could have a 5-speed 240SX.

no, i could use the 5000 i saved towards a down payment on a house... i have some more money saved up........ this can just secure it. you can get a house around me for like a 10000 down payment. ill prolly just save a lil longer tho and get a real nice one.. im only 18, having my own house would be kickass.

btw ike, its not going to be my side car...... the 240's going

yea i kinda like it too. and im surprised that i can find one that is fast, with a sunroof and woodgrain interior. our winters in cleveland, suck, this will definately be a lot better than the 240.

i dont have any plans to mod this at all, it will be a complete user killer beater it has a lil rust but i can take care of that in a jiffy

YUCK! I always will remember this car as the Nissan Blusbird- the ugly middle-management car but I guess if it fulfills what you want it for........................................

:-/ i love how your 240 looks...I hope some moron doesn't buy it and a.) tries to drift it and ends up ruining another nice 240 b.) ricing it out so much that you can't even tell it was your car at one point.

If you enjoy driving it then more power to you...I don't like a lot of what Nissan has put out with a FWD layout, though the Maxima can look nice sometimes. 240sx and skyline (esp r33) are what really make me a nissan fan. Anyone else notice the R33 looks like a beefed up 95/96 240sx? 300zx is nice too, but ever since Saturn ripped off the headlight style I don't want to own one...let alone the weight...engine probs...etc etc etc....still can be nice if you find a decent one.

tell me about it.

im going to have the person who buys it sign a waivor that says that they aren't allowed to put ANY decals on the car, unless they say NISMO

lol

i figure after a few months driving a stick fwd my desire for another 240sx will be so unimaginable that i will just die for one. i'm leaning towards an rb25 powered s14.

Gah! they just look so fat and almost resemble Taurus Jr. I know that they came with FWD SR20's- some of them even came with ATESSA in them- but they are just so bloody ugly and souless- not to mention a pretty boring drive- I'd go as far enough to say that I perfer the Prime-error

no, i dont want it. im sick of it. i need something different.

i want a stick. mine isn't stick.

there are many reasons i am selling it. did i mention im prolly getting an rb25 s14? that is reason enough to part with it for a few months

i want to learn how to drive stick. i dont want the first time i get into a stickshift car for it to be a 12 sec car, that just isn't right.
