Will I need new hubs?

I just picked up a Y8 and am going to drop it in my STD hatch...

Will I need to replace the hubs? I just read an old thread where someone was doing a z6 swap and somwone told him that since he had a 4 speed (like me) he would need new hubs... ???

I am dropping in a 91 LX 5 speed while I am at it... I just was wondering if I am going to need new hubs? axles?

Thanks

The std axles are tiny so you would be better off replacing them with the new trannys axles... hubs im not sure on, i thought only the 88 tranny had to swap axles beause of the spline count....

Actually you dont have to if you're gonna use your existing axles. They are pretty tiny but if you're on a budget or something just stick with the std axles. IF you got the money to get the new hubs then hey go for it.

Well my right axle is bad so I am going to have to replace it soon anyway... I might as well do it right the first time and upgrade the hubs and axles... I still need the ecu and harness too...
