question about photoshop

in some chops that u guys post u make the head lights bright...like they're turned on... im like an extremely newbie to photoshop and i would just like to know how u do the lights thing

1. select windows you want to tint(with lasso)
2. make that to a new layer
3. paint it black or whatever color(with paint bucket)
4. lower the opacity of that layer

and that's it!

it helped me alot...thank u

but also... how do u put different grills on the cars... like in the porshce thread..with the yellow porsche the grill is like changed and stuff id really like to know how to do that

Try to find some car pics that are taken from same angle as your car you're chopin and then copy/paste the part(s) that you want to change and then play with clone stamp and smudge and soften -tools. And I've noticed that, only practising and trying different things can make you able to chop well...

So keep on chopin

another way to tint the windows is to

1/. select the windows
2/. edit--->copy
3/. edit--->paste (it'll paste it as a new layer)
4/. image--->adjust--->brightness and
contrast (carry down the brightness to the
tint you want)
5/. deselect.

(atleast this is the way i do it)
