Angry New clutch seems flimsy...

I just got a new clutch installed on my 95 GS-R today and noticed that its not as stiff as the previous clutch. I don't have to push down nearly as hard as I did before...

What I'm wondering is, could it be possible that they installed an LS clutch as opposed to a GS-R clutch? The reason I say this, is my mom has a 95 LS, her clutch feels just like this new clutch that was installed in my GS-R... I always noticed that her clutch was not as stiff as my GS-R clutch and assumed GS-R's had stiffer clutches because they were the faster sportier model of integra.

This sorta pisses me off because I really liked how the clutch felt before, it was alot stiffer, and didn't feel as flimsy. I preferred the feel of it over my mom's LS clutch...

Is it possible that they installed an LS clutch as opposed to a stiffer GS-R clutch?? And if so, should I go back to the mechanic and complain about this or am I up shit creek? Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions...

Ok, that make sense, because the previous clutch had about 128k miles on it, so thats probably why it was stiff... I still preferred the stiffer feeling of it tho, this new clutch just seems way too weak and flimsy...

When I installed a new clutch in my 95 GS-R, it, too felt much lighter than the old one. I think this is mostly due to the linkage's grease drying up. When a new clutch is fitted, all the linkage pivots get fresh grease and, thus, feel smoother. My clutch was genuine Acura parts. Don't feel bad about the light clutch pedal. Heavy ones SUCK in traffic.
