''Commitment'' my first real attempt at acrylic paint

This is my first real atempt at an acrylic painting. Normally when i have used acrylics it has been for small areas of an illustration style drawing. However, a few days ago i was inspired to try and do a completely acrylic painting in a loose, almost impresionist style. This is a far cry from my usual perfection when i do my illustrations, but i think it has come out ok.

The painting depicts the great michael schumacher chucking his car in to a chicane on a slightly damp track. The rain light (in the centre of the car) is alight, and the left rear tire is just kicking up some spray. the blue in the back ground is actaully a painted concrete run off area, not a feeble atempt at sky.

enjoy
