Turbo Question
Does anyone here know, if a Supercharger, or turbo, made for the 2.5L duratec, found in the old SVT Contour, and current Cougars, can be made to fit onto a 3.0L Duratec from a 98 Taurus? Thank You.

you can call the guys at custom cougars to ask them about the kit....but most likelly it would require some custom piping to fit in your engine bay and some retuning.....
btw how much power does your duratec put out because another ideea would be to get one of the new 3.0 duratecs like the ones in jaguars with about 240hp.......that way you would have quite a bit of power and a new engine.....this is a fairly common swap for cougars......

I have a 3.0L duratec now, thats at 200hp, 200 ft lbs of tq.
might you possibly know if its the same engine, just tuned differently?
