new member of the AF wrecking Crew
well i joined ya all today, the damage isn't too bad... but kinda really fucking annoying... i had just read two days ago got my new hood and bumper repainted... and then tonight i'm out cruising... following behind one of my aquaitances in a new VW beetle as we're pulling up to a stop light i see a cop pull up in the lane next to me next thing i know wham ohhh shit! hit him at about 5 mph thank god not any faster... so now my new hood is fucked, my bumper is cracked in several places, and my rad. support was bent all to hell... and my head light bracket is broken...
with some precision engenierment (read come along and big hammer) i got the rad. support bent out right and my old hood on and just am dealing with a cracked bumper

well i gave him my insurance info... but i'm not turning my car in... it'd prolly be totaled if i did... and the cops were just like be more careful...

oh dude, that sucks, good thing u took out the beetle instead of the cop..lol...welcome to the forum...hope you have better luck when you get settled here than when you started.....get some pics of the damage?!

been on this forum for close to 2 years now
 and nah i didn't take any pics... it was late and didn't feel liek fiddling with the camera maybe one of these days i'll snap some of the hood and bumper...Quote:

no thank god... just bent the rad. support and broke the head light bracket on the drivers side... other than that its all hood and bumper

mel, i think its time to get a front end conversion, heck half the parts you need are damaged anyway, why not.
