Kill people and not go to jail?

Apparently its not that hard, seeing as the guy who killed two of my best friends was sentenced yesterday: to parole, and a fine. fuck the justice system

Reminds me of how angry I was when I heard about the judge sentencing somebody to "thirty acts of kindness" for hitting and killing a motorcyclist - hell you'll get in more trouble for stealing $50 from somebody!

Well, according to him, he fell asleep at the wheel of his car, which then crossed the center line and hit their car head on. I just don't buy the sleeping bit, since the cops said one of the cars (my friends '88 teg, that they were in, couldn't do this) was going about 100mph.

Man that sucks, I know of a couple of people that have died that way, one was on a scooter when a car crossed over the centerline and hit him head on, gives me shivers thinking about that one. Another guy, in either a BMW Isetta or 600 was hit head on by a truck (that also crossed over the center as I understand it) niether person who died was at fault for the accidents, and I think that the murderers got away with a slap on the wrists...
What was the guy driving?
Do you know who the judge is? I feel the need to send out yet another nasty-gram to somebody who needs to know better.
