CHOOSING A ZC / ?Osakamotors?
what do i need to look for in a jdm ZC engine..as appossed to a euro or any other type of DOHC engine.
i want to replace my old engine replace with a "ZC" but i want to make sure that i don't accidentally buy a shitty or old version of the ZC...are their things i need to look for on the block or on the valve cover to determine what kind of ZC it is and what it came out of ??? Also has anyone here dealt with osakamotors of canada http://www.osakajdmmotors.com I checked out their website and called them.. they seem to be legit but i wanted to check to see if anyone here has ever bought anything from them before. does anyone know of a place that sells better stuff. i just wanna make sure i get good shit. thanks for the help.. i appreciate it

If I were you, I'd save the risk of going through a less than reputable site, and just order from Hmotorsonline.com, they're not that much more expensive, and I've heard nothing but good things about them.

I bought my ZC from Osaka. They are the shadiest people ive done business with. I just got my ZC in the civic a couple days ago. Im driving it currently and I know its not as powerful as it should be. I have a tone of tuning to do but it seems like a decent condition motor. I would recomend Hmotorsonline just because ive never heard anything bad about them. As for telling how old your ZC is, the year it was made is stamped on the block between I think the 3rd and 4th exhaust ports, good luck.

Thanks. I checked their website last night and they are all out of zc's so i guess im gonna have to wait a lil bit but Hmotors seems like the way to go.. thanks again
