My new subwoofer enclosure! Pics!

It is 1.3 cubic feet sealed. Every seam inside is sealed with caulk. Every screw is counter-sunk. I still need to sand the sides smooth where the panels don't line up just right (about a 1/32 overlap in some places) and fill in the screw holes with filler and sand that smooth, then I am ready to carpet.

The box sounds a lot better than my old one. It plays a lot deeper and smoother. The old box was barely 1.1 cubic feet, and not sealed nearly as well. I'll upload pics of the carpeted result when it is done.

I just wanted a really sturdy box. And this box won't leak, hehe, trust me, I use a LOT of caulk on it... thick beads inside at all the seams, around the terminal cup, and foam tape on the mounting ring of the sub.

haha talk to 4g4dstore he would be GLAD to build one for you. he helped me with the majority of this one, mainly by providing the tools and the garage space to do it... i built my old box, but that was my first try, and it wasn't as clean as this one...

my MECP certification doesn't mean shit when it comes to building boxes... thankfully 4g4dstore has built MANY and gave me a lot of pointers
