Tranny swap

Trying to swap from stock auto transmission to 5 speed manual out of a 4th gen DX D15B2, dual point. I know it will bolt up, but will the linkage work, or will I need new linkage?

tranny

i am doing the exact same thing. i don't think you need a linkage, but don't quote me on that. if you get a tranny that came with the same generation car, it should work.

i will have mine in in a few months

I tried doing this with my dad's 97 Honda Accord V6. The problem with that was that the V6's didn't come with even the option of a manual. They said that the linkage would have to be changed and holes drilled, and hydraulic clutch and new engine mounts and a shit load of other stuff the whole price was going to be $9,785. Also my friend was trying to mount a manual in his 5th gen and they said he would need new linkage also. So dont quote ME either but I'm thinking that you might need new linkage.
