Amp installation

I have a 1994 Camaro and I will be installing an amp this weekend. Can anyone tell me a good location where to run the power wire from the battery through the firewall?

Thanks
Bill

I don't have a camaro, so I cant give an exact location. But on my install, I just traced back the wired from the battery to see where they went through the firewall. There were two small holes in my firewall, one on the driver's side, and one on the passeneger side. These has a tight rubber seal around the bundle of wires passing through. I just used a knife and delicatley cut the rubber seal a little wider so I could pass my power cable through.

I jsut recently installed an amp, and realized that i was not game to take out the computer to get through the firewall, plus i did not feel like taking the whole interior apart, so i ran it from teh angine bay to the passenger side fender and through a small hole there, then i slit a small hole in the rubber piece that houses all the wires that run to teh door, and i ran teh wire through there, then i took off the interior peice that sits by the passengers foot and just pushed the wire around until i could feel it and pulled it through, and ran it all teh way to teh back this way, worked out great, also i sealed up teh small hole in the rubber door thingy with a little silicon and its great, just gotta make sure that u run teh wire the right way so as not to crimp the wire in the door , but its very easy, u should ahve no problems at alljusttake a look at hte fender with teh door open, and u'll see exactly where to put it
