Well, being you stopped in on the 3000 site you're going to get the VR4 as the answer. Aside from that, I test drove a Supra, M3 and RX7 as well as the VR4 before narrowing my choices to the M3 and VR4. I just didn’t feel comfortable working on a rotary engine. If you do, then you’ll be ok with the RX but I just wanted a more reliable engine then that. The VR4 has the nicest look of all of them but that’s subjective to the viewer. Given where I live and how I drive (generally I am not a racer but enjoy having the punch in the car) the VR4 was several steps ahead of the others.

If you plan on working to improve the performance of the cars to their maximum. Pick the RX7. Many people have gotten the VR4 into the 11s with a few hundred in proper mods, but few have gotten into the 10s and that takes some $$$$. For the same $$$$ you can get better times out of the RX.

NEVER... rx7... bad!!!! i will give them that they look pretty sweeet (however not as nice as a VR-4!!! imo) but i know stock for stock the VR-4 outdoes the rx-7! and as far as mods and that go, it may take lots of money to get a 10 second VR-4...but thats nothing compared to what it will take u to do it on the rx-7!! but most cars (save for like a viper) is gonna take lots to reach 10's... the rx-7 will just take more. and u better get accostomed to having her in the shop ON A REGULAR BASIS! the shop where i got all my stuff done, the owner told me he hated rx-7s simply because he was always doin stupid shit on them, just so they will make it down the street! so i would say im correct in saying anyday (literally) take a VR-4 or RT-TT!!!!!!

Well I would have to go with the VR-4, there's just something about 320 stock hp that catches my ear. BTW Yogs, was that an E36 or E46, because I would take an E46 over a VR-4 anyday. E36 I'm not so sure about.
