The 88 camaro rs was a 2.8 v6. I know because I had the exact same car but auto when I was 16, and it was slow as hell. But nice kill nevertheless.

LOL, if it had the 2.8L V6 then I am surprised he even was able to race. Yeah, he had no chance. The 2.8L V6 has been on the worlds worst engine list.

I did not know that but I would say that that is accurate. I have never had so many problems with a car in my life. But it was a 2.8l V6 in the rs until 90 or 91 and also 92, when for some reason they put the 5.0 V8 in them for those few years. I think it was a special eddition thing because of the better wheels and body styling package. Then in 93 when the body style changed, they stated using the 3.?L V6 which was a much better engine.
But yeah anyways, the 2.8 in that big ass body was a dog.

You're right. Nothing special in killing something that you overmatched.

I like the 2.8, I have a 77 mustang with a 2.8, and it must have 250,000 miles and it still runs strong, not much go power but it is a healthy little motor.
