Red face My car (pics) 56k, have patience...

Well...for as long as I have been posting here, I have never really posted any pics of my cars, past and present. I've never been a big picture-taking kind of guy.

Today, one of my classmates just happened to bring his little pen-camera to school, so I decided to take these pics.

I apologize for the quality, since I took the pics with a pen-cam.

Here's the front:

Back:

My favorite part of the car, the SR20:

I sharpened this as best as I can. You can kinda see the 7500rpm redline and the 150mph speedo. You can also see my high idle that's probably due to my highly-advanced ignition:

Just as a bonus, I had to take this pic of the car I parked next to. Notice the full Bomex type kit, on a VERY stock car otherwise, including hubcaps. Why???:

I hate those cars, they are the biggest sleepers. You never would think that they are fast, until you realize how far ahead that they are. Kinda sad that Nissan's new Sentra Spec V is roughly the same speed a decade later, and out of a .5 litre more. Does that car handle well? My buddy almost kept up with my former Cobra going up La Tuna canyon with one.

That's a huge compliment coming from an Ellis Juan driver...

Yes, it does handle pretty good for it's tall, stock suspension, though I'm a bit underwhelmed, due to the fact that I have gotten used to driving aftermarket-suspensioned cars for the last few years.

As soon as I graduate from college, I'll be taking care of that of that.

As far as having suspension mods, check this page, I highlighted the pertinent parts:

http://www.rc.i4m.org/SVChallenge.htm

That's with a modded suspension and stock motor.

Take a good look at the cars that are BEHIND it...

You can get the original chart here:

Hi guys, first post in this forum. Nice car man. As for the Cavalier? Its not an authentic Bomex kit. They'd never make a kit for a Cavalier. Its just for show. Not a big fan of domestic rice...

Welcome!

FYI: You're right that the kit is not a real Bomex. I used to work for the company that sold the kid his kit...BUT Bomex actually does make a kit for the Cavalier. TRD does, too. The Cavy is sold in Japan as a Toyota.

Stay here, and you'll get your fill of useless car trivia as that above...

A lot of us here have minimal to no lives

DAMMIT! You found out my secret!

I am actually a lonely inmate in an Arizona prison. They usually call me "Big Bubba", and my last "girlfriend" cost me two cartons of cigs he...errr...I mean SHE was a newbie.

I drove around and found this spot in some alley behind the school...

Thanks.

When I graduate next year (and hopefully get a good job), I plan on getting a car that can stay stock and still be fast, like an STi or Evo...or even...get this...an '03 Cobra (they should have some used ones by then).

The Sentra will be my "Project Sleeper". I am going to keep her looking like she is now as much as possible, while going for my goal of at least 500 streetable horsepower.

Of course, there will be other improvements, like suspension and stuff, but with the reactions I'm getting now with my fading paint and approximately 145-150HP in a 2300lb car, I can just imagine the reactions when I'm running 450+WHP.
