Question vtec controller

I understand what a vtec controller does, but what i want to know is how does that add HP to your car? Does it add HP to your car? and if so how much?

they let you manually change the point at which your vtec activates. i think they might have other features too

vtec

VTEC = higher lift.....higher lift = increased engine performance...shifting the point at which the engine changes into the higher lift cam lobes will increase the strength of your top end.

APEXi makes the VAFC for honda and allows for fuel adjustments on top of shifting the VTEC point.
