Looking to buy a 626...Weird Noise!!!
The company I work for is selling a 1990 626 DX to the highest bidder. I'm thinking about bidding on this car but there is one thing that bugs me about it. I took it out and drove it and after I got back and shut it off......there was a buzzing or clicking noise. It was coming from a box under the front of the passenger seat. This box has a big wiring harness plugged into it. Does anyone know what this box is and why in the world it would be making this clicking noise?? The noise started out fast...then got slower and slower and slower until it stopped. ANy idea what's going on??? Thanks in advance for any help!!

OK well I saw something on another board about this box being the ECM, the engine computer. So why would it cllick and buzz? The battery on this car was TOTALLY DEAD so I'm wondering if that would cause it to click.
