b16 map sensor
i have a b16 1989 crx an the map sensor is fucked up does it have something to do with my reverse? because when i reverse the car it makes hella crappy ass noise out of my exaust. thankz

I don't see how the map sensor would have anything to do with reverse, seeing as how the Map sensor measures manifold pressure, and Reverse is a gear in the tranny. They're not connected in any way. Are you sure the sound is coming out of your exhaust? I know with my b16 in reverse it makes a whining sound when I'm backing up, but it's not the exhaust.

reverse
i dont know, but my reverse missfires an makes wierd "doot doot" noise once ina while when i reverse, and also sometimes my engine wouldnt start. do u think that has to do with the map sensor or do i just need a new batery?
