check enging light came on. how to read the code? Mine came on after driving for awhile

what mods do you have, header, exhaust, CAI?

Or take it to the dealer and have them get the code and tell you what it is if you have no aftermarket mods.

well I have a short air intake install about a month ago. I tried cleaning the map sensor and disconnecting the positive battery post. It went away for about couple second then came back on again.

Which brand do you have, AEM, K&N, Injen?

Some of these Intakes have been known to throw the CEL, and you either have to live with it or get an SAFI to correct your A/F mixture to get rid of the CEL (but that's another $200 plus another $100-150 for install and tuning)
