headunit upgrade help!!!

just purchased a 95 325i and the oem radio unit is not working it won't accept the code. so i purchase a new kenwood cd/mp3 player and the harness that will plug directly to the factory harness. after i wired everything up and try the player it power up but i got no sound coming from any of the speakers. anybody got any idea?? am i missing something here??

Question How to install new radio

I have the same car (95 325i) and I want to put in new radio I bought...How do you get in to unscrew radio and pull it out and put new one in ? THanks.

in my E30, to remove the radio there are two little hex screws on either side of it. pop off the little plastic thing over top of it and remember lefty loosy, righty tighty. . .
