Question Supra vs Evo 6??

If you had a choice between a 2001 (?) Toyota Supra and a 2003 Lancer Evolution 6 which would you choose and why??

sorry to say but the supra was discontinued in 98 i think, and the evo 6 was discontinued in 00-01. but out of those 2 cars, it depends on what i want to do. if i want a quick stop light dragger, or cornering monster, i would have to be the evo 6. if i want to go all out top speed, and highway racing, it would have to be the supra.

I'd get the poopra (As stated before, it was D/C'ed in 98). Did you mean Evo7? Either way, the Supra would get my money, although it is extremely overpriced.

except maybe exotics

2002 Japan Supra's had VVti engines as well as twin turbos a six speeds. There's a few on www.autotrader.co.uk but they don't detail the specs properly and i can't remember for the life of me where i saw a time line type thing on the whole mods things

Just checked and apparently the VVTi was introduced on Supra's in 97

Incidently Japan continued producing Supra's up untill 2002 export models stopped in 98 roughly

J-spec Supras had ceramic turbines the Export-specs had Steel.
J-Specs had a little like 3 lbft more torque but had 40hp less than the exports.
