Factory window tint question
My friend works for Safelite Autoglass and her "homework" is to research the factory tint of the windshield on a Ford Explorer and a Mitsu Montero. They should be like 95% or something right? Anybody know where I could get information like this? I want to know what my Civic has also.

Yeah...Jackassi is correct...I would contact the manufacturer...or get in touch with the local dealership and they can give you contact information of where to go from there...
You might also check www.road&track.com, www.car&driver.com, and the like...even www.google.com...you can almost find anything there.... ![]() CivicLeader.... |

I guess all she had to do was hold up a piece of paper to the outside of the window and look at it from the inside, checking what color it shows. I guess there's blue, green, and bronze, and they're all the same tint% but diff colors. Oh well, thanks for the help anyways...
