Warm Starting Problems
No I haven't looked for codes yet but check this out. When I shut down for about 5-10 minutes the car doesn't want to fire up. It behaves just like a carb car with vapor lock. It briefly fires and then stumbles and dies. If I start it with the throttle open, it will fire and if I manage to keep the revs up for a short while it will run through the problem and then all is OK. Bizarre. This has been an intermittent problem but is getting worse. Has anyone here had problems with sensors in the intake getting gunked up? I'm wondering if it's getting messy in there and needs a good cleaning. Time to hit the Helm and get educated.

i had the same problem when my car got warm, but it wouldnt start then die, it just would crank over and not start, it ended up being that the main relay doesnt werk right when it gets warm (located by fuse box under dash) this is how u fix the main relay if thats what is wrong with ithttp://www.fourthgenhatch.com/index2.html

Main Relay won't make it fire up at all. Sounds like a clogged fuel filter, get a new one.
