Question Valve cover on 2.5L engine

Hello!

I have a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calai with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. The valve cover has two holes in it. The one on the driver side has a 90-degree black plastic elbow in it. A hose is connected to the protuding end of the elbow and the other end of the hose runs into the air filter housing. The hole on the passenger side has an L-shaped piece plugging it. The protuding end of the L is much smaller than the side that plugs the hole. There is a mostly-inflexible hose/line running from the L piece that initially heads towards the back of the car, then cuts over towards the drive side at a 90-degree angle, then takes another 90-degree turn and plugs in somewhere either on the TBI assembly or below it.

The Haynes repair manual that I have for this vehicle is not to good at detailing info for this particular engine. I believe the hole on the drivers side is where the pcv valve is, but I cannot figure out what is on the passenger side.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
