Hey, if you're like me, then you wonder why BMW doesn't make another addition to their M-series. They have an M3, an M5, one is missing. The M7. Think about it, a big 6 or 7 liter V12, a 6-speed automatic or even the coveted SMG, and all of the features and ammenities of the 7-Series. I personally think it could take the title of "Ultimate Sport Sedan" from the Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG. Tell me what you think, perhaps there's even someone skilled enough in PS who could put some ground effects on a pic of a 7 and we can see what it could look like.

i agree that a M7 would be very cool, but it also would probably cost about 150K. LOL not really but it would be expensive as hell.
also post a pic of a 7 series in a photoshop forum and they will chop it up for you probably.

You are right about how insane the price would be, especially comapred to the $80K or so E55, but it would be a kick-ass car. I went to the PS forum and gave them this pic...
Well I don't know how to insert an images so here's a link to the pic. http://www.automagazine.be/jpg/NEWS/NEWS6181.jpg Now I guess I just gotta wait a while.

Bingo, some guy named Charlie originally made these so thanks to him, and thanks for ZVT for showing them...
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...33#post1114934 Just scroll to the bottom, I've had enough with loading pics. Not an M7 but it still looks great with lip, skirts and all.

About several years ago and just recently, i asked the same exact questions to my dads frend whos VP of Sales and Marketing at BMW of NA, Jim McDowell, he said that sumone in BMW International already thought of the M7, but sales and demand wouldn't be high. McDowell said they made a few Concepts with engines but didnt hit the market. But BMW is Still debating whether to produce the car or not. Theres sum info at www.bmwinfo.com about the M7. Its a great place for all u BMW boomers out there, but during the debate, theres always the AC Schnitzer 7-series. Theres a pic of the concept currently being tested, which is supposed to be the M7, at the website that i just posted.
any way, heres the AC Schnitzer S745i. |

great thread above; the M7 would be highly amusing (either from M power, Schnitzer, Hamann, Hartge or even Dinan) Versus (S55 - forget AMG), its got to be the S600 SV12 Bi Turbo (Brabus SV12 kit).. see also their patented 12 piston breaks for pulling up the big boy! refer; http://www.brabus.com/homee.htm but back to BMW's fortunes surrounding a full blown 750-760-M7, other than AC Schnitzers beast already posted i also really like Hamann's work on the 760i --- stunning looking engine hey http://www.fast-autos.net/hamann/hamann760.html |
