b16 turbo fuel questions

Alright, i have a friend with a b16a with a 18g greddy unit. Almost identical setup as me. Anyhow he wants me to get some opionion on some fuel stuff so...
Ok he has all the basics, pump, rail, regulator, etc. Now the kit comes with 310cc injectors and the blue box for a fmu. What he wants to know first is: Could he run 10psi max on the 310cc's. Keep in mind that it is a daily so most of the time it won't really see 10 psi, more like 3-4, due to the gear ratio of that tranny. He also wants to get an safc. The other question is: Since the blue box fools the ecu from seeing boost, should it be used in conjunction with the safc or not. I have the blue box and trust me, its not a fine tuning device. Thanks!

What do you mean by the blue box is not a fine tuning device? Using both the blue box and safc would interfere with eachother I would think. Alot of people ditch the blue box and go for the safc hack for fuel management but I dont know much about that I use the blue box myself thats why I ask.

Exactly. They are two devices that do the same job. They are both piggyback fule managment systems. Go with one or the other and personally I would go with the Apex-i unit.
