Radar Detectors

I couldn't find another place where i could put this topic in.

Do Radar detectors really work ?? I am in New Zealand, and just curious, if i was to buy a radar from USA would it work here in NZ ?

Well, mine was stolen recently, but in the 8 years that I had it, it saved me from ALOT of tickets. Not every single ticket, but enough to make it more than worthwhile...

Then again, you could just buy an IROC camaro and wax it to a high shine and go completely undetected by radar LOL:

just get a Valentine 1 radar detector and a Lidatek system and you'll be just fine and dandy.

I just checked out the lidatek page... very interesting... what exactly does it do? Does it send out some sort of laser pattern to jam the police laser unit?

I guess it sends out an echo to the gun every few seconds to make the received information a mess. Too bad it's illegal in Utah, but who'll know
