02 Si

I just bought a 02 Civic Si (EP3). I love the car to death, handles awesome, accelerates nice and strong, but the only thing is it doesnt look to good. I am going for a JDM look, so i was wondering if anyone would give me some suggestions about what i should do to this thing first off. I have about 7000 to spend right now, and i want the real JDM thing, but i dont want to spend a lot of $$$. If anyone can give me some urls to performance and auto styling sites for the new Si, i will put you in my will!!!

my personal choice would be a type R body kit, wing, etc. here is a website from honda japan to check out the pics. i'm not sure what color yours is but this one is white. you can buy this stuff but i'm not sure where or for how much, but it can be found. enjoy.

The CTR kit looks good. I really hate the look of the Si but I can stand one with a CTR kit. Mugen has a kit for it that's not bad either. I'll try and find links.

I agree, new Si=bad. New CTR=gooooooood.

I went here once, it's got a good selection of all the stuff you'll need, from front-lips to shift-knobs. Looking at the prices, you should be able to get a lot done with $7k. Besides the Recaros, don't they go for like, $3k? At least in the DC5 ITR they do. Good luck with the conversion.

Jesus man, for $7k I'd hook up the engine bigtime, throw a nice suspension on there, then put little lips or whatever on it afterwards. It's too bad the 02 si and ctr look like some kind of pokemon character, but if it runs 13's who cares? Do they make turbo kits for the new si's yet? I haven't really looked into EP3 performance too much...

Cybernation has a turbo for it, they claim 240 hp at about 7psi on a stock 02-03 si.

unfortunately, they're charging about $5000 for the kit, but if I was gonna drop $7000 on my car, that's what I'd be looking at. forget the outside.
