cant find it for the SR20 but cool indeed

I thought i was done with the turbo chrysler fettish after selling my lebaronbut i stubled on all this after seeing a beat up 1990 chrysler lebaron with a emblem that said "VNT" on the side after doing a search on it it tunrs out it means variable nozzle turbo (vanes change pitch/angle ) heres the chrysler page i found it on:

http://www.pinnaclecda.com/kanatalarge.htm

supposeldy chrysler only made them for a year and only 25 of such lebarons exist there are a few more daytonas and shadows with this 175+ horse engine

now after seeing that i found out its nothing new and there a turbo called areocharger thats basically the same thing :

http://www.aerocharger.com/

they have kits for focus miata and silverado but no G20/SR20DE

ps- P10DET is that one of eddie cheevers old helmets i see on some of your posts ?

Nope. That's my helmet. Those are my colours. I've been running them since I started racing in '87. Got to get a new one within the next month (Snell rating on the old one expires for SCCA club racing). It will get painted the same way.

Way cool Mike.

Yeah, this is my first year in SCCA. I should have had my license by now, but a couple of things got in the way of me getting a couple of races in. I've got my two schools in and one race. I'll do my second race in January and finally get my license.

I'm curently racing a 91 Sentra SE-R in ITS. It's a fast car and getting faster. We're developing it all the time and hope to have a new suspension on it in the next couple of months. The car is owned by a friend in Dallas. I think he's Santa Claus.

I just got my 944 and started stripping it out on Friday. I've got it about half stripped inside. I have a lot of work to do for sure. A lot of money to spend as well. I've had a lot of people tell me running the Porsche was going to be expensive, but other than new OEM parts, it's looking like it will be cheaper than the Sentra. Good used parts are common and cheap since there are a ton of cars out there. There are a few race parts that are pretty expensive, but those parts aren't even available for the Sentra (such as race-type swaybars and spherical bearings to replace the bushings). The rear torsion bars are gonig to be a bit expensive ($400 for a set of hollow bars).

How did you like F500/F500?

f440 and f500 is the cheapest class in scca really dont blow too much wad on race weekends , usuly you can get multiple races out of a set of tires (ususly get too hard after to many heatup/cool down cycles) never wear them out . our car runs 2 cycle snowmobile parts so that stuff is dirt cheap. the cars are a little underpowered so it teches one how to be smooth to keep the power up so it is alot fo fun . rules dont allow shocks and springs so we find all kinda ways to get around them . for shocks they run rubber biscuits inside alumium housings on a pushrod sytle set up we founf a way to get a srping out of this by getting the frame member that it attaches to to flex . so i guess i like it get alot of engineering training and drivers ed for a cheap price .
