I know there's probably an obvious answer out there, but the driver's power window has quit working but all the others work fine. Why I don't know. It is the one that goes down on its own. How do I fix it?
And also, the dashboard lights seem to have gone out. I can hardly see the fuel gauge or temperature gauge at night. What do I do there? |

for your windows, i would say that it could either be your master switch, which is the drivers side switch that controls all the windows, the motor, or the wiring from the switch to the motor, u can pull the door panel off, and actually apply power directly to the motor, from a car battery and two little leads if u are careful to see if it operates properly. u can hook the power up either way because it will only control which direction the motor winds the window up or down, if the motor operates check for any visible damage to harnesses or connectors, if no luck id say u should replace the master switch.

Re: Electrical system and power windows
for the windows i would guess that the motor died.
for the dash lights, there should be a vertical knob sort of thing just left of the steering wheel (don't know the right word for it). anyways, turn that all the way up and that should fix that problem |
