AC/HEATER fan stopped

On my 94 the fan/blower stopped working while using AC......Ive checked all fuses and replaced AC blower relay that was under the glove box..even when I switch it to defrost or anything else the blower still doesnt work. It stopped working one day than the next day it started working again for about an hour only to shut off again, but now it never works....any help would be great

94 Lumina APV - I could get the fan to work if I smacked it with my snow brush, but eventually even that didn't work...so I took the fan out and took it apart. The armature was very worn and the brushes were toast (10 years of use, I guess) so I replaced the fan and all has been fine since. A bit difficult to get at as I had to practically lay across the engine to undo the bolts at the firewall. About $80 I think! Good luck!!

While I was traveling in Florida my AC and engine fans stopped running. Checked all fuses and was considering pulling the fans when I pulled into a Firestone instead. The mech told me it was because the pressure in the AC was too low - apparently there was a leak - and both fans ran on the same circuit. Sounded fishy to me but as soon as he topped up the AC both fans started running!
