dude, sorry to break the news to you, but its 115hp at the crank.

and i have raced an 2002 civic EX 2dr with the vtec engine(SOHC version) and won, it was auto but so is mine but the girl started the race without me knowing.

if he has vtec, you will hang with him till about 110mph or a little slower depending on the condition of your engine and tranny.

if he doesnt have vtec you will own him.

btw my car ran a 17.6 back when i just had a short ram intake from autozone.

now i run low 15's/high 14's. i only have to watch out for rsx type s's with good drivers and some american v8's.

now i need to work on getting rid of the 115mph speed limiter. i know of someone that took his 1996 ST to 145mph(yes he was well past redline)

i just did a little check but didn't get the quarter mile times. anyways i think there was a difference betweent the 94 and 97 st , the 94 came with more horses and torque. also, what kinds of mods do you have to hit 14/15's

im running factory 14's(bigger wheels slow you down), custom 2.5" magnaflow exhaust that has the muffler right behind the cat and a pipe that points down right after the muffler, same short ram, SAFC2, custom fit eclipse SMIC, t3 turbo, generic BOV, turbo timer(i kno, not really a mod), JGSTools turbo header, vortech FMU, turboxs boost controller and i soon will get bigger injectors, FMIC and a walbro 255lph fuel pump. im boosting at 5-7psi(when i have the last three parts im gonna get a 2 stage boost controller to run 7-8 on the stree and as high as 12psi at the track)

the 94-95 celica ST's had 110-115hp and 115tq depending on the state it was sold in and the 1996-1998 celica ST's had 105hp and 117tq.

and trust me, celica ST's run mid to high 17's in the 1/4 mile when bone stock.

also, dont expect great gains from simple bolt on mods like CAI, exhaust, and Header

if you have any questions feel free to ask, this board is slow but i check it every time i get on my PC.

You'd think with all those mods it would be running a bit faster...

got my internals from toyota, came with the car.

lol.

but seriously, yes i do have stock internals. the stock internals of the 7afe can handle around 250hp and similar torque as with the tranny. i estimate my power at about 165 crank hp right now. the 7afe has a CR of 9.5:1, which, along with the head/valve design, is the reason why the car makes low power numbers. BUT the lower the CR the more stable the engine is when boosting.

and this is as fast as i expected the car to run. as i have said, it is a bit faster than a gsr, sure sometimes a gsr pulls lower times than my car, but my car is consistant where as the guy in the GSR could miss a shift, or launch wrong, etc.

i knew that at my psi settings, i would be on the level of a 94+ gsr. i got what i expected, plus the car sounds awesome

and about your brother's ST. 16's are possible if he had a 5spd, intake and appropriate exhaust setup. i know of someone that has an NA 1994 celica ST that runs high 15's.

but his car is lightened substantially and his suspension is almost fully upgraded, plus he has CAI(he makes and sells them for 1994-1998 celica ST's) and exhaust just like mine(he made that for me) an UD pulley, and a tuned SAFC.

Aren't you forgetting about 350Zs, 300ZXs, Turbo Supras, RX-7/8s, etc etc... and a lot more than just some american V8s, any LT1, LT4, LS1 or an LS6

Sounds like you did a whole lotta work for not a whole lot of improvment.
