Great race....teg.
So im coming home from my girlfriends tonight and a guy with an integra i noticed from my school wants to race...we pull over and talk...I tell him what I had...by the way i have the 91 civic STD with DX engine, STD tranny, Cold air intake, 2 1/4 in. exhaust with no cat nor resonator. The integra was a 92 LS 5 spd. with axel back exhaust short shifter, and cold air intake. We raced from a 45 mph roll and i got him by about 3 car lengths. I was so suprised.. Then we caught a stoplight and right as the other lights turned red he nudged up so that hsi back bumper was 1/2 a car in front of my FRONT...So he was up there...Anyways i was like screw it and raced.Launched at 3000..Through first gear i caught up to him and side by side all the way till i hit rev limiter in 2nd gear..LMAO.Where we both slowed down ...that sucks bout me bouncin the rev limiter but hey technically i got him...pretty cool race tho..SUprised me..

it probably went more like this...
"we were racing from a stoplight, and the light turned green. the integra jumped on me and i could never catch up, especially since the 4 speed STD tranny is a big piece of shit and drops to 4,000 rpm if you shift at 7500. My 92hp engine would never beat an LS so i made this up. thanks for listening to my BS story."

its believable i took out 2 or 3 of those tegs with a 250,000 mile 93 lx stock...and if you dont wanna believe me then.....oh well lol

i dont belive you, sorry. I really doubt 300lbs weight difference overcomes the extra 20ft/lb torque and 25hp. especially with an STD tranny, there is no way in hell.
I raced an auto 94 teg LS in my hatch when it still had the d15b2 with a DX tranny, short ram, and full exhaust and i got beaten horribly bad.

i totally agree the LS engine is no pussy shit, its got like 35 more horsepower a shitload more of torque, no, if it really did happen that guy sucks serious balls at driving
