Key entry system fob programing

My dealer salesman gave me a new fob. And said that he thought the service department had to program it. However I thought I would give it a try. I thought there would be some smart person on the Internet that would know how to achieve this task.

Can anyone aid in the programing of a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee keyless entry key fob?
