yeah SSCs a good magizine that issue they had 26 something pages of 240SX info and none of that "turn your 240 into a drift car" like Import Tuner.

i hate when they expose this shit to little kiddies who read the magazine.

sure its a good article.. but now the engine prices just went up cause i be everyone is wanting a rb25 now.

no offense to u guys, i would have picked up the magazine if i saw it.

but the way they make it seem so easy... it just motivates everyone to go out and do it. i like rarities, more than quantities of the same swap being done.

Now you have a bunch of kiddies saying I am getting an s13 with a rb25 swap. I am getting this and that and this. When in reality you would be better off getting the sr20 with bolt-ons.

SCC is more about actual car tuning..

Super Street is more of the "scene"

and Import Tuner/Honda Tuner..... well those make good toilet paper in a pinch

hell yeah, they don't even go on about how its an engine not even present in America and no shop has expertise in it to repair it... F buying a new engine or block everytime you blow something up, and if you like high HP and turbos...... eventually you will blow something up, your fault or the parts fault your still shelling out the green.

I wonder how many of these new 240sx lovers just like the car and want to get it cause it looked cool in the magazine and can kick a hondas ass...... Damn I like the car for its style, potential, and its design of suspension.... I bet some of these kiddies don't even know it has independant rear suspension

no offense to any of you guys, i definitly don't like all the stupid kids that are around my town with their riced out civics and such... but really do you think that those kids even have the money to afford this swap? in reality it will cost with the car about 10k+ and chances are their parents wont' pay for them to buy a car and swap an engine, most kids parents will buy them a NEW car yes... but this is an entirely different swap... its like how many 240's out their do you even see, and then how many do you see with sr20s? sure you see them all of the internet, but can you name more than 2-3 in your area? i know up in Dallas there are quite a few but who cares... why is it that only you should have the information, the more the swap gets popular, the more aftermarket there will be for it... and i just read about someone complaining about buying a new block everytime you blow something.... hmm im sorry but i just get tired of hearing everyone complain when information becomes available on these things... you don't own the 240 scene guys...

more information = more swaps = more aftermarket parts = easier to get parts = funner life... just be happy boys... thats what its all about.

personally id never buy anything just to be original because the moment you do a million other people (super street readers or not) get the same idea and it becomes played out. take the SR20 ive heard a couple people say "im not going to do that because alot of ricers do it" i say who cares its still fast.

the only car id buy to be original would be Dorikins Vtec LS1 skyline

yah, that has to suck ballz, real hard.

that happens to cars here, so i dont see why it wouldnt happen to imported engines.. so many times engines just "go".

what can u do..

heh i know around 5 people with SR20DET's and thats not including the SE-R crew who has the sickest SR's that i've ever seen from the pulsar gti-r. its a freakin SR with turbo with 4 throttle bodies on a 2200 lb frame. it is freakin sick!! i'm the only KA-T in the whole 240 met.
