uh. yeah, I got the same problem, but the dealership I bought myne from was honest enough to tell me that it WAS in a wreck. that oculd be yer problem. did you buy it used, or wreck it or something? Not all dealerships (or individuals) are that honest.

If your SIR light comes on, it will store a history code related to the fault.
This history code will help with diagnostics. If your car is still under warranty, I would recomend taking it to another dealer. I dont know where little river is in relation to the Laurel area, but I do have a friend in Laurel that is a top notch GM tech....Send me a PM and I'll try to see what I can do about getting him to help you out.

If the light is on then it has to have a code stored. Not all dealers have good mechanics, they are hard to find. We are a dying breed it takes alot to be good and not all people belong in this business. If you have a problem you can try another dealer or call GM roadside and ask them for a good dealer to help you out.
GMMerlin is also a great tech I have known him for some time now and would trust him to fix anything I needed fixed.

Thanks bro!
Thanks for the thumbs up bro...and may I add that I have known Flatrater for a long time and he is one TOP NOTCH tech!
As Flatrater said, not every tech is knowledgeable or trustworthy....Mikegee, if you send me a PM, I will try to put you in contact with a GM Service Manager and a GM tech in your area that I'm confident can and will repair your concern and treat you right....(Flatrater knows who I'm talking about and can back me on this one)
