Do you really need more than the 2.7 already has? I have seen a few vehicles have check engine light come on, setting all sorts of codes. Those problems went away after reinstalling factory chip one vehicle needed ECM replacement, weather or not the chip caused the ECM to go bad. With electorics anything is possible. My suggestion leave it alone!!!!!!

I have seen ECUs go for 495... and on Ebay for $24. Now my question is why such a price descrepincy? Am I paying for parts or is the labor REALLY expensive?
Thanks |

I have a 2002 a6 2.7t. I bought the neuspeed engine chip and when i put it in i noticed tons more power from the car. I believe my horsepower went from 250hp to 300hp. Just as much as the a6 4.2. But im not sure what my torque is at. It feels a lot better though. I have not had any problems yet and ive had it for around 8 months.
