Your view on this kit...

I know the wheels look pants, and it is a Fujimi kit!
But after changing the wheels, is there anything wrong with how this looks?
I can't decide!

Yup it should look OK. A little lowering couldn't hurt either.

Thumbs up

Red one definately looks much better. Can't wait for a rally version, though not made by Hasegawa!

See my new post. Still waiting for the Mercedes decals, the Toyota is finished and the Nissan kit has arrived so I have started on that as I have everything to complete that one.

you never know.. Tamiya made the Evo5 and 6 so far... they may just make the 7... may...

but after owning all 3 Hasegawa/Fujimi/Tamiya, I still like the Hasegawa kit better...

for some reason I don't dig Tamiya street car kits too too much (their race cars are still awesome.. I have a ton of those)

I think maybe they're so nicely molded that I just can't bare to hack it up in pieces and totally over it with putty.. but dont' have that problem with fujimi and hasegawa kits

Sweet. I was going to get those photo-etched parts for my 99 Focus WRC but I also wanted the trans kit. I don't like the 'preproduction' look of that 99 Focus...so I got the trans kit instead.

Tamiya are going to do the 2001 WRC Focus, so I decided to go for the orange/white 99 car for contrast!

I guess if you're going to get that one too then there's not much point in the trans kit. One WRC Focus is fine for me, unless they totally change the graphics and body style.
