MK4 posessed electronics
I have a 99 Mk4 Jetta... the electronics are posessed... the locks will go up and down, the interior light will come on and off... the hazards will flash.. the trunk will pop open - all while i am driving... seems like it is linked to the alarm system... any thoughts? i need help and i need to know if i should replace the ECU.. (Alarm remote is not involved)...

Check all the ground wires that are gong to the ECU and related equipment. Bad ground can cause wierd problems.
