short ram-sucks air from within the engine bay

cold air-filter is relocated to inside the bumper away from the heat

Don't get both, unless you are planning on switching them once in a while. I would go with a short ram intake if i were you, cold air intakes are more expensive, and they usually dont even produce more power than short ram's. The short ram is a lot better bang for your buck.

Also, don't buy a certain brand just because they say it'll give you 15 horsepower, thats bull, all intakes are similar.

it all depends on you. i have both because i take off the cai during the winter. and i do believe the coldair is better, no point in halfassing it just because the shortram is cheaper. if youre gonna do it at all, do it right. and you dont need to spend alot to get a coldair intake. i got one for $70, and it comes with a carb sticker, meaning its 50 states legal, just like the $200+ aem intakes.
