Junk Yard Find
Me and a buddy of mine hit up the local junk yard today, got two rear deck speakers with the factory covers, and I got new vents for the front. Speakers are crystal clear, but the carpet on the covers is just beat from the sun, and the vents are also beat from the sun. I wanna paint them the color I had on the old ones the gun metal color, but im afraid of tearing it apart, so I might try to just dye them, would that work? Also would dying the spakers covers make the carpet on them rock hard, or should i take it an upolstry shop? Thanks and ill try to get some pictures as soon as I get some batteries for my camera. Later

get some old carpet or something, like an old mat or something to try out the dye on....if you like it do it...maybe you could find some dark carpet to re-carpet em...good luck! get those pics up!
